NES announces a partnership with Inzer Consulting Services led by Monica Inzer to support the success of NES clients by offering executive coaching and advising for newly appointed enrollment and marketing leaders. This NES-funded investment will provide enrollment management expertise and executive leadership guidance to both seasoned and rising professionals who are navigating a new role, environment, and community.
In addition to executive coaching, NES has joined forces with Inzer Consulting Services to offer institutional opportunity assessments for college and university clients. These comprehensive enrollment management program reviews provide college and university presidents and leadership teams with an impartial overview, identifying critical needs and opportunities for institutional focus during a leadership transition or in hiring the next enrollment leader. Further, opportunity assessments could assist a newly appointed leader to more quickly assess an institution’s unique enrollment landscape, implement change, and maximize the opportunities for success.

After retiring from Hamilton College in June of 2024, Monica Inzer launched Inzer Consulting Services, offering strategic enrollment management expertise, guidance, and executive coaching tailored to the needs of higher education leaders, institutions, and organizations. Monica works with boards, presidents, senior leadership teams, and enrollment professionals to identify opportunities and advise on best practices. She also provides leadership coaching, professional mentoring, and support to newly promoted or interim admission and enrollment leaders.
Throughout Monica’s twenty-year career at Hamilton, the institution experienced unprecedented success in student quality, diversity, selectivity, and retention. Monica championed access and opportunity, prioritizing financial aid, eliminating merit scholarships, and helping Hamilton join a select number of colleges that are both need-blind in admission and meet 100% demonstrated financial need. Her expertise was recognized nationally, with invitations to speak at schools, professional associations, and in the national media, as well as serving on The Common Application Board of Directors. Upon retirement, Monica became Hamilton’s first emeritus vice president and a scholarship was endowed in her honor.
Previously, Monica was Dean of Undergraduate Admission and Student Financial Services at Babson College, Director of Admissions at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and held various admission and advancement roles at Moses Brown School, The Frederick Gunn School, and Muhlenberg College. Monica is a first-generation college graduate who is enormously grateful for her education at Skidmore College. She lives in Clinton, NY with her husband, Steve, where they share a passion for travel adventures, golf, and spending quality time with family.
