Laura brings a valued perspective to the Napier Executive Search team as an individual with nearly 25 years’ experience in higher education and the K-12 environment. She is well versed in the concerns held by the prospective customer base for colleges and universities, as well as the challenges higher education institutions face in enrolling a diverse class.

Before joining Napier Executive Search in 2015, Laura held several leadership positions in the education sector, including college counseling, enrollment management, financial aid, and marketing. In her role as Director of Recruitment and Outreach at Northwestern University, she played a key role in transitioning the office to a regional recruitment model and collaborated closely with colleagues in enrollment communications and partner institutions to launch Coast to Coast, a college admission tour featuring Northwestern, Dartmouth University, Princeton University, Vanderbilt University, and the University of California at Berkeley.

Laura is passionate about helping individuals find the next step in their lives; her background, combined with her work as a search consultant, has enabled her to help people from ages 3 to 65 find their next best fit. As a member of Illinois Association of Admission Counseling, Laura has served as a mentor and was recently invited to participate in Elevate, a Women in Enrollment Management Leadership Seminar Series.

Laura grew up in Ohio and attended the University of Dayton where she earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees, the latter in College Student Personnel. After living much of her life in the Midwest, Laura now calls the Tampa Bay area home. She enjoys going on fun adventures with her husband and two children, and on walks with her very energetic dog, Cooper.
