Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Abreu as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services and University Registrar. Jason brings extensive experience in the field of student enrollment services in higher education and will join Furman on April 18.

As a seasoned administrator and adjunct faculty member, Jason is passionate about student success and building strong relationships with faculty and staff to foster an environment of inclusivity while supporting the vision, mission, and goals of the university.

Before joining Furman, Jason served as the Director of Admissions, Registration & Financial Aid/Registrar at Miami Dade College and held various positions in enrollment management and student services at Florida International University and Barry University.

Jason, who is fully proficient in English and Spanish, graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and earned a master’s degree and doctorate of education in organizational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

I would like to thank the search committee for their work and time and share my appreciation for all who participated in the search process.
