Ann served as the Director of Admissions at the University of Connecticut School of Nursing, Duke University School of Nursing, and The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she facilitated a partnership with the Association of American Medical Colleges to implement holistic review best practices on the campus.

A first-generation college graduate, Ann credits her band directors at every level of her education for seeing her potential and encouraging her to pursue her dreams.
